Dr. Shahzad Naseem, the spokesperson of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), stated that nursing assistant Akram, along with junior clerk Shiraz, who were posted in the Federal Health Center located on Birdwood Road, were caught red-handed demanding Rs. 20,000 from a citizen against a fake vaccine certificate.
Various Arrests and Prosecution made
FIA officials confirmed that six individuals, including a doctor from the Federal Health Center, had been arrested for the conspiracy. The torture had been put formally under the First Information Report (FIR), while further investigation would also continue.
Certificates Issued without Real Vaccination
It had been mentioned that the vaccination certificates were being granted at this particular location without injecting the meningitis vaccine, and as a result, the health of Umrah pilgrims was at a critical risk. There would be no compromise on the vaccination process, and therefore the FIA would take exemplary action against everyone found indulging in this illegal activity.
