The Attendance of Shehbaz Sharif for Pakistan in the Global Forum
In a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on February 10, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would attend the World Government Summit in Dubai.
High-Level Delegation to Accompany the Prime Minister
According to a spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other top officials of the government, will accompany the Prime Minister. The summit shall convene world leaders, policymakers, and experts from all corners of the world to exchange thoughts and develop initiatives on governance and development-related issues.

Keynote Address and Bilateral Meetings
During the summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will deliver a keynote address with a focus on Pakistan’s economic strategies, digital transformation, and governance reforms. Additionally, he would attend some bilateral meetings with the leadership of the UAE, global leaders, and CEOs of multinational corporations to consider opportunities in terms of economic collaboration.
Strengthening Pakistan-UAE Relations
Even highlighted by the Foreign Office, this visit would further improve Pakistan-UAE relations-referring particularly to economic and trade cooperation. This is the second visit by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the United Arab Emirates, once again confirming the Prime Minister’s commitment to building economic ties between the two countries.
This long-established relationship between Pakistan and the UAE is built on mutual trust, brotherhood, and cooperation. This visit will strengthen the two countries, both strategically and economically.
