FIA Arrests Man for Hawala Hundi at Jeweler’s Shop in Karachi
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect involved in hawala hundi during a raid at a jeweler’s shop on Tariq Road, Karachi.
Large Cash Seizure During Operation
According to FIA Director Noman Siddiqui, officials recovered $35,000 and 6 million rupees from the shop. The operation was conducted by the FIA’s Cooperative Crime Circle, which also seized key records, including data from the suspect’s mobile phone.
Case Registered Against the Suspect
A case has been registered against the arrested individual under hawala hundi laws. Authorities continue their investigation to uncover further links in the illegal money transfer network.
