Buckingham Palace has revealed a delightful update about Queen Camilla following Prince William’s recent new title announcement by King Charles. Just days after Prince William was named Great Master of the Order of the Bath at Westminster Abbey—a prestigious honor marking the order’s 300th anniversary—the Palace shared a personal story about the Queen.
In a social media statement, the Palace introduced Queen Camilla’s newest “much-loved” companion, Moley, a playful Jack Russell Terrier adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The Queen has long supported the charity as its Patron.
Accompanying the announcement was a charming photo of Queen Camilla with Moley, showcasing their close bond. The Palace also confirmed the Queen’s plans to visit the Royal Horticultural Society and BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden at the upcoming Chelsea Flower Show. This garden, specially designed for dogs, features grassy areas and shaded spots perfect for pets to relax.
The Queen’s late dog, Beth, who passed away last year, will be honored along with Moley’s and Bluebell’s names on a commemorative path at the show. King Charles’s dog Snuff will also be recognized. The garden will later be relocated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
This joyful announcement follows Prince William’s prestigious new role and highlights the royal family’s ongoing dedication to public service alongside their love for animals.
