Okara — A tragic accident claimed the lives of a father and his three young children after a speeding trailer collided with their motorcycle on GT Road in Okara on Saturday.
Muhammad Nadeem, a resident of village 24-2R, was on his way to drop his two sons and daughter at school when the trailer struck them. All four died instantly at the scene.
The victims were identified as Muhammad Nadeem, his 10-year-old son Aryan, 8-year-old son Ayan, and 6-year-old daughter Aiza Fatima. Their bodies were initially taken to Okara District Hospital before being returned to their village.
Authorities said the trailer driver fled the scene but was later apprehended during a police raid. Muhammad Nadeem worked at a local factory.
The tragedy has cast a deep shadow over the village, with shops closing in mourning. The children’s mother fainted upon hearing the devastating news. Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
