Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has confirmed that all schools in Punjab will remain closed on Youm-e-Takbeer, a public holiday observed nationwide on Tuesday. However, government schools that have prepared special activities or models to mark the occasion will be permitted to open for one hour, from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. With summer vacations already underway, only these select schools will hold brief commemorative events during the holiday.
