FBR’s major vehicle purchase
The Federal Board of sales (FBR) has issued a Letter of intent for the purchase of 1,010 new vehicles. This significant purchase, costing over 6 billion rupees, will be carried out in 2 phases, with a full upfront payment from FBR.
Payment and delivery schedule
An initial payment of 3 billion rupees will be made, covering 500 vehicles. The delivery will take place between January and May 2025, starting with 75 vehicles in January, 200 in February, and 225 in March. the second phase will include 250 vehicles in April and 260 in May.
Purpose of the new vehicles
According to the FBR spokesperson, these vehicles are part of the organization’s transformation plan aimed at enhancing the capabilities of field officers. The vehicles are designated exclusively for field officers to improve their operational efficiency.
Boosting field Operations
The new fleet is expected to significantly boost the operational capability of FBR’s field officers, providing them to carry out their duties effectively. This move is aligned with FBR’s efforts to modernize and improve its overall performance.
