US-based AutoAcquire AI, specialising in automotive technology, has acquired Virtuans AI, a conversational AI startup founded by Pakistani entrepreneurs Raheel Ahmad and Muddassar Sharif, in a deal valued in the seven-figure USD range, which includes both cash and equity.
As per reports, the deal comes just under two years after Virtuans AI launched operations, highlighting the growing innovation within Pakistan’s AI landscape.
Both co-founders, Ahmad and Sharif, have been appointed to key leadership roles at AutoAcquire AI. The company’s technology, which focuses on developing autonomous conversational agents, has been integral to automating sales and customer support functions across various industries.
Sharif expressed his pride in Virtuans AI’s growth, stating, “We built Virtuans with the belief that AI agents should not just respond to queries, but truly understand context, learn from interactions, and deliver outcomes that match or exceed human performance.” He emphasised that the acquisition validates their vision and provides the opportunity to scale their technology in the US market.
Raheel Ahmad noted that this acquisition is a clear sign that Pakistan’s AI talent is capable of building world-class technology that attracts US-based companies and paves the way for leading roles in global tech firms.
AutoAcquire AI, led by Anthony Monteiro, is focused on transforming the vehicle acquisition process in the United States. By integrating targeting, offers, inspections, logistics, and fraud protection into a single AI-driven platform, AutoAcquire aims to disrupt the $1 trillion US used car market.
Monteiro praised Virtuans AI’s technology, stating, “Virtuans has built an impressive foundation in intelligent automation and AI agent development. By bringing their expertise into AutoAcquire AI, we are expanding our ability to deliver AI solutions that operate proactively and drive real outcomes for dealers.”
