Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on Monday for a two-day official visit to Qatar, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and a high-level delegation. The trip aims to advance economic collaboration, trade, energy partnerships, and infrastructure development between the two countries.
The visit, at the invitation of Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will feature a bilateral meeting covering the full spectrum of Pakistan-Qatar relations, including political engagement, economic cooperation, energy projects, and people-to-people exchanges.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the visit underscores longstanding fraternal ties and mutual trust, while providing a platform to discuss regional and global developments of mutual interest.
The agenda includes exploring new avenues for trade, investment, and manpower exports, alongside joint infrastructure and energy projects. Both sides are expected to reaffirm coordination at regional and international forums and commit to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
The leadership-level discussions reflect Pakistan and Qatar’s intent to deepen multifaceted cooperation and strengthen strategic and economic partnerships.
