LAHORE: Khurram Shahzad bagged a four-fer as Quetta Gladiators bowled out Multan Sultans for 89 in their PSL 10 clash at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

Put to bat first, the Mohammad Rizwan-led side were off to a disastrous start as they lost their opening batter Yasir Khan on the team total of seven.

The right-arm pacer then sent wicketkeeping batter Usman Khan back to the dugout on a duck.

Kamran Ghulam became Shahzad’s third victim in the game after scoring just three runs.

Curtis Campher became the Quetta Gladiators pacer’s fourth wicket in the PSL 10 game.

Campher’s dismissal left Multan Sultans reeling at 20/4 in 3.5 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan firm at the other end with little to no support.

Iftikhar Ahmed (6) and Michael Bracewell (0) fell to Faheem Ashraf, as Sultans were restricted to 43 for six in 9.2 overs.

David Willey made seven while Usama Mir returned to the dugout after scoring 11 runs.

Mohammad Hasnain (2) and Ubaid Shah (1) could not provide any support to their captain Mohammad Rizwan who remained unbeaten on 44 runs.

Sultans were bowled out on 89 in 17 overs, with Khurram Shahzad leading the bowling with four wickets.

While Quetta Gladiators remain unchanged from their previous fixture, Multan Sultans brought in Curtis Champher, David Willey and Usama Mir in place of Shai Hope, Josh Little and Akif Javed.

The two sides have faced off 13 times in the PSL history, with Sultans well ahead by winning nine games while Gladiators won four games.

Quetta Gladiators are third in the PSL 10 points table, having six points from five games, while the Multan Sultans are at the bottom with just two points in six fixtures.
