Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited(formerly Shell Pakistan Limited) has announced plans to expand its business operations outside Pakistan. During a board meeting held on February 10, 2026, the company approved, subject to the State Bank of Pakistan’s approval, the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in the Dubai Free Zone of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), United Arab Emirates.
According to a notice sent to the PSX, the company also approved an investment of up to USD 500,000 in this subsidiary, subject to compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The move is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its commercial activities beyond the Pakistani market.
