Financial Help for Underprivileged Families.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to allocate funds for a Ramadan and Eid package by supporting 1 million poor families across the province. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.
Transparent Distribution and Special Attention
The CM directed that the process of distributing the aid should be transparent and preferentially cover orphans, transgender, and terrorism-affected families. He also talked about the aid to be provided to all transgender residents in the province and completing distribution at least before the 15th of Ramadan. The salaries and pensions will be issued much earlier on February 25.
Other Endorsements are Education and Infrastructure
The cabinet has also approved an annual grant of Rs 4.920 million for using orphan students of Abbottabad Public School for 15 such students. It sanctioned the Cadet College Swat Phase 3 project that was affected due to rising land costs. The cabinet allocated Rs 1028.673 million for Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation teachers. Finally, it approved some amendments to the Motor Vehicle Rules 1969 in order to enhance bus depot inspections.
Internship Scheme for Nursing Graduates
To assist the newly graduated students, the provincial cabinet has approved an internship program with a stipend of Rs 31,000 per month for BS Nursing graduates, which will definitely contribute to better skills and provide the opportunity for employment.
