A group of postgraduate students from NED University in Karachi has succeeded in designing an electric vehicle with full self-driving capabilities. This group thinks the innovation will bring attention to autonomous vehicles in Pakistan.
Advanced Navigation and Enhance the Tolerance
The car is designed such that any given destination may be attained by the most efficient means. However, given the road conditions in Pakistan, these students ensured that the vehicle could avoid potholes or rough terrain.
Potential for Transformation in Mass Transit
The supervising professor pointed out how not only smaller vehicles but such technology may also be applied to heavy transport such as buses and coaches. This marks a big step toward upgrading the transport system in Pakistan.
