Pakistan’s top military leadership has pledged an unwavering commitment to eliminate all proxies and facilitators of terrorism threatening the nation’s peace and security. Speaking at the 270th Corps Commander Conference held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and senior commanders vowed to dismantle hostile elements trained and financed to incite chaos and fear with full national resolve and institutional strength.
The military emphasized that Pakistan will never compromise its sovereignty or territorial integrity, standing firm against any act of aggression. The conference came shortly after a deadly attack targeted a school bus in Khuzdar, killing six people, including three students, and injuring many others. The attack was condemned as a “state-sponsored” attempt to destabilize Pakistan.
The military blamed India for using covert means and non-state actors to fuel regional instability, calling out its role as a perpetrator rather than a victim of terrorism. The forum reaffirmed full diplomatic, political, moral, and humanitarian support for Kashmiris enduring human rights violations under Indian occupation.
Highlighting the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the Marka-e-Haq campaign, the conference praised the sacrifices of martyrs and acknowledged the critical contributions of youth and media personnel during recent conflicts.
In a historic move, Field Marshal Asim Munir was formally promoted to the highest military rank in Pakistan, with the President and Prime Minister honoring his leadership through turbulent times and significant military achievements.
The forum concluded with a firm warning that Pakistan will continue to safeguard its vital interests by any means necessary, maintaining relentless pressure on all threats to peace and stability.
