The Automotive Sector Gets Strong
As reported by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association, vehicle sales in Pakistan increased by 29% on an annual basis during the first seven months of the current fiscal year.
Distributing Sales Growth
Sales for all types of vehicles in the country for the period between July 2025 and January 2026 reached 936,179 units against the previous year’s 724,879 units. Within January, it was reported that sales achieved 159,553 units, meaning there was an 18% increment over December and a 34% rise compared to January 2024.
Category-Wise Performance
There was an annualized 51% growth for car sales, reaching 58,266 sold units as against the previous year’s 38,464 units. Sales for LCVs, vans along with jeeps were noted to have increased by 72%. Truck and bus sales surged by 108% and 53%, respectively, while rising also by 28% was that of motorcycles, thus showing even more comprehensive growth of the sector.

The boost in sales reflects increased public demand and a rebound in the economy. Hopeful future prospects present themselves for the automobile industry in Pakistan.
