Reinforcing Economic Cooperation
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced plans to increase trade between Turkey and Pakistan to the tune of $5 billion. He emphasized that with efforts, such growth could transform into an economic whirlwind, particularly with the forthcoming introduction of the federal budget in the next 3 to 4 months.
Support and Economic Cooperation of Turkey
Speaking at a federal cabinet meeting, PM Sharif updated the cabinet on the visit of the Turkish President, during which multiple MoUs and agreements were signed. The steadfast support to Pakistan especially with regard to Kashmir and Palestine was acknowledged by the Prime Minister in recognition of such good bilateral relations when he named the newly inaugurated flyover after Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
All Economic Prospects and World Recognition
As a result of a recent survey, 55 percent of the Pakistan population views the business climate to have improved in comparison to the previous year. Not only that, a World Bank delegation commended the economic reforms in Pakistan while expressing confidence in the reform agenda of the nation. Pakistan, PM Sharif outlined, should continue on the path of hard work to strengthen its position.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to Lieutenant Hassan Ashraf, martyred in the fight against terrorism. He stated that national prosperity is indeed very closely linked to security and stability, reiterating the commitment of Pakistan to the total eradication of terrorism.
