Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has unveiled a special gas supply schedule for domestic and commercial consumers during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, prioritising uninterrupted availability during peak festive hours while managing system pressure overnight.
The company said it has put in place operational measures to maintain adequate gas pressure and a stable line pack throughout the holiday period, extending Eid greetings alongside the announcement.
Under the plan, consumers will face no gas load-shedding on Chand Raat, with uninterrupted supply continuing through the night and into Eid day until midnight.
However, supply curbs will begin from the night between the first and second day of Eid, when gas will be suspended from 12:00 am to 6:00 am. Services will resume at 6:00 am and remain available until midnight.
The same load management pattern will apply on the night between the second and third day of Eid, with six-hour overnight suspensions followed by full daytime restoration.
From the third day of Eid onwards, SSGC will revert to its standard post-Ramazan schedule. Gas will be available daily from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, while supply will remain suspended overnight from 10:00 pm to 5:30 am.
The utility has advised customers to report complaints via its 24-hour helpline, 1199, noting that dedicated response teams will remain on standby throughout the Eid holidays to address any disruptions.
