The British media are reporting that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is allegedly ready to sign a deal with the U.S. whereby the U.S. would gain access to Ukraine’s core mineral resources.
US Demands Compensation
Former President Donald Trump has called for $500 billion from Ukraine as compensation for aid given to that country during its war with Russia.
Zelensky’s Position
Zelensky had at first rejected “the selling of the country,” but reports now suggest that he may be willing to give way on mineral reserve concessions.
